<Ramcharan Nirmalkar, 1926(?)- 16 May 2012> Ramcharan was one of the pillars of Habib Tanvir's Naya Theatre. He was, in my estimation, the finest comic actor I ever worked with or saw at close quarters. He was also a thorough gentleman, warm, affectionate and loving, and over the almost quarter century I knew him, I never once heard him complain about anybody. He was also something of a historian, with dates and facts about Naya Theatre at his fingertips.
